Thanks and Keep Praying!
Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to everyone. We can't tell you how encouraging your emails, calls, texts and visits have been today. But above all, we are so thankful for your prayers. Despite some bad news at Ansley's physical therapy appointment today, we are greatly encouraged. It really is true that you can feel the cover of prayer. Ansley had a MUCH better day today! Praise the Lord! She was much more herself (happy and smiling and interactive), she "twitched" much less, and she even ate well at dinner! Seeing her do well and seeing her full of joy, breathes life into our souls in a way we can't describe in words. We are touched and humbled by how many people rallied around our family today. We can see God using you all to speak to us. The best way I can describe the last few days is using a couple proverbs: "A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones." (Prov. 17:22) "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life." (Prov. 13:12) For a time our hope was gone, our hearts sick, and our spirit dry. But through your prayers, God's grace, and Ansley's progress we feel hope restored and joy returned (not that we are dancing in the street or anything, but we feel like we can breathe again). Thank you and continue to pray boldly for our daughter and us. We need it more and more every day. So many of you pointed us to Christ today, and we beg you to continue to support us on this journey.
