He is Risen!!

He is risen, indeed!

We had an awesome Easter celebration. We were looking so forward to celebrating Christ's ressurection. It was very different for both Rob and myself than it had ever been before. We have experienced Christ's power in such an unbelievable way that we just could not wait to celebrate. Christ showed His power to be above all the earth on the day He rose from the grave. If you believe that Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the grave is nothing more than a historical story, let me just prove otherwise. No words are needed to show that Jesus Christ is alive and living as an intercessor for us to go before the throne of God. No words are needed to show that His power is able to conquer anything, even death on a cross. No words are needed to show that, even today, He is the God of the impossible...

Just a picture of a little girl whom He has chosen to show His power through. There is no way to explain how she is able to do things her brain is not capable of doing. I saw the scans of her brain with my own eyes and I heard from her neurologists lips what she would most likely be capable of at some point, but to be sitting at lunch with my mom today and have her shout, "Dada!" as a nine and half month old baby.......please try to explain how that is possible aside from the precious blood of Christ, spilled out that tragic day as a sacrifice for His people. Because, if you try, you will find Him, our precious Lord and Savior, and nothing else.

Luke 11:9 "So I say to you, ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

After church, we went to lunch with Rob's family. Zachary insisted on eating while holding Ansley' s hand..

She, of course, was much obliged..

Rob and the kids

I was not able to get a good picture of Zachary and Ansley together, but I will try again in their little matching outfits (Thanks, Mom!!!). This about sums up their excitement for all the photo taking..

We attempted a cousin picture, but again.... not so much

Oh, well!

We went to my parent's house after lunch with Rob's family and all of the men unknowingly matched! Unless they secretly called and coordinated with each other ; ) Haha! Who says pastels can't be manly??

Ansley and sweet Aunt Claire

Later, when we got home, we finally got to the Easter Basket goods. Zachary was extremely excited to hear rattling in his eggs : )

Ansley enjoying her new books. The girl cannot get enough of storytime.. I love it!!!!

As far as Ansley's health and development goes... she continues to amaze by the grace of God! Just a short while ago, Rob and I cried together on our bedroom floor knowing there was no way we were going to avoid a feeding tube for her, and the Lord has so graciously blown that out of the water! Her eating is a non issue now! She eats wonderfully! We posted scripture above Ansley's highchair when the feeding tube first came up, and the result speaks for itself.

God is incapable of breaking His word, so when you pray and CLAIM His promises, you can believe and expect Him to deliver on them. Persist on in hope and belief that He is who He says He is and rest and rely on His truth.

The evidence in our little eater speaks for itself. I mean, did I really just call Ansley "our little eater"?????

Ansley has also recently started pulling up (right on time).

AMAZING! She grasps and claws at any and everything in her reach to try to stand up. She is such a wiggle worm and wants to move so bad. She is so close. We would love for your continued prayers for strength and coordination for her body to crawl, stand and eventually walk.

Her babbling is absolutely the sweetest music to our ears. Please continue to pray for God to give her the gift of speaking. We also want to Praise God (!!!!!!!!!!!) that Ansley is almost ten months old and has NEVER had a seizure. We pray everyday that the precious blood of Christ would be washed over her sweet little brain in protection against seizures and we are so thankful for this gift. Thank you so much for your prayers and unending support.

We will continue to tell her story...
