A "step" in the right direction..

God is moving.

Undoubtedly so.

Ansley cruised (walking while holding onto something. Couch, coffee table, wall etc) the entire length of the couch and back today! I really can't help but laugh everytime I see those little legs moving. Step..step..step.. It makes our hearts burst with joy!

Rob took Ansley to physical therapy for the first time yesterday to experience what it's like. Her therapist said she is looking great and at one point, while talking about Ansley learning to walk, said, "Who knows, she might just surprise us and just do it." Rob smiled. One of her favorite things is letting go of what she is holding onto. If you watch her, you can tell by the look on her face she knows she is doing something and she can stand longer and longer. She can stand independently for about five seconds now before she slowly lowers herself to the floor!!!

So proud of herself!

Zachary and Ansley both love playing in the water, and since it has been OUTRAGEOUSLY hot outside, it's the only way to go!

A little water table fun

Zachary is at the age where he could care less that he is in a pink princess pool : )

But, he makes up for it by doing manly things like "washing" the car

Our little fish

One of Ansley's obsessions is playing with Zachary's (toy) cell phone.

She is so giddy and excited when she gets away with it. Until...

Brother comes and takes it back : (

"Sorry gwurl, you can't chew on my phone."

So many of you have messaged/ e-mailed us your encouraging support. We can't tell you how awesome it is for us to know we have people standing with us, encouraging us, and praying for Ansley's feet to move in the name of Jesus! We knew this would happen, but we would ask for your prayer against spiritual warfare. A lot of people get weirded out by the topic, or like to pretend is doesn't exist, but it is very real. It is not exclusive to preachers or missionaries.

1 Peter 5:8 "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. "

He wants to stop this. He does not want us praying for God to show His power and he will do anything he can to "steal, kill and destroy" (John 10:10) us. You can easily identify spiritual warfare by John 10:10. Does a thought steal, kill or destroy you? Or does it give you life? The good news is we have the power, through Jesus Christ, to make evil flee.

James 4:7 "..resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Literally, since we hit 'publish' on our last post to ask you to join us in praying for Ansley to take her first steps before her next appt, we have been under a lot of warfare. In the past three nights, every night, Ansley has been awake anywhere from 3-4 hours screaming, crying, babbling and just not sleeping. Zachary, Rob and myself have been having nightmares and it has been absolutely exhausting. It is obvious.

Thank you again for your prayers and unbelievable support. It means so SO much to us. Keep praying for our little girl to arise in the name of Jesus and WALK!!

I just wanted to let you know that we at Christchurch Baptist Fellowship in Houston, TX continue to pray for Ansley and her development and that her parents walk with God is probably the most important thing she will have in her young life. I will update everyone Sunday and pray extra that her July 8th goals will be met. With God, all things are possible.
