On St. Patick's Day, Rob went camping with a friend, so the kids and I decided to have a sleepover at Grammy and Pappy's.

Dont be fooled by pastel birds and ruffles, girlfriend is a biker chick.

Catching up on texts..

Brother doesn't mind a little pink purse goodness in his life...
Grammy helped Zachary turn juice into St. Patrick's Day juice with the help of green food coloring.

Pappy taught Zachary how to play badminton (and yes, that is how you spell it).

Lookin' for deer tracks...

Rob always messes with me because I love pictures of him and the kids walking from behind, but whatevs... I love this picture.

Playing on Pappy's "Bridge to Nowhere". Back and forth

and back and forth I'm telling you!

So, the Bubbs is utterly obsessed with Grammy's ipad....

By the way, is is weird that my four year old knows how to play angry birds and I don't??

The Cry of My Heart

From the depths of our souls, LORD.

We wait for you, with hands held high in PRAISE, for you to move this mountain

as you have done before. As your word says and by the strength of your MIGHTY right hand, You are ABLE, LORD. Your power and strength are greater.

For your GLORY, Lord Jesus.

What is your mountain??

One Day Without

147 Million Orphans hosted an event for National Barefoot Day on April 5, 2011. It was created by TOMS to raise awareness for the children globally who are prone to (preventable) infection and disease because of their lack of shoes and proper foot care. Since we don't live anywhere near Nashville (and our college group meets on Tuesdays), we encouraged our group to participate and had our own no shoes day with our students!

Also, be sure to check out the new spring line at 147. It's super cute stuff and the proceeds directly help to FEED, provide medication and CLEAN water for those who ARE WITHOUT.

"...once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12

Makin' Soup

First, you get the "pot" ready...

Then, you gather your eager "ingredients."

Next, toss the ingredients in the pot.

Sometimes, the ingredients run away... so you have to chase after them

and toss them back in the pot.

Next, stir it up reeeaaal good.

Then... eat!!!

And thats how Daddy "makes soup."
