*Sorry this took so long to get up... a storm knocked out our internet for a few days!*
Here is THE present that Rob and I worked on forever! He did the building and I did the finishing. The picture is kind of dark, but I love the way it turned out!
Brother was VERY excited about the lap doodle writer he got Ansley. She is ob.sessed with these things!
Can you hear the water in this picture??
I'm not kidding when I say these two are so in love with each other. Zachary's giving Ansley a kiss on her hand.
I tried to read the passage we found last year in Isaiah 35 title The Joy of the Redeemed. It is talking about the future glory of Zion and we have seen, with our own eyes, so much of the Lord's glory of this passage revealed in Ansley. It is so specific to the developmental struggles and problems associated with microcephaly and the cross of Jesus Christ has SHATTERED them. What a sweet song to sing! So, you can see why I could barely read it!
"The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for jy.
they will see the glory of the LORD,
the splendor of our God.
Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way;
say to those with fearful hearts,
"Be strong, do not fear;
your God will come."
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened
and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
Then will the lame leap like a deer,
and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams in the desert.
They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away."
Oh, my God... how He has saved our sweet!!!
Oh, my God... how He has saved our sweet!!!
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. It was certainly a day of rejoicing and overwhelmingly thankful hearts! All praise and glory to God!
